Dr. Papanastasiou leads a team of highly qualified administrative and medical personnel whose sole mission is to deliver the best possible care to each patient.
V.W. Papanastasiou, M.D., C.M., M.S.C., F.R.C.S.C., entered McGill University in 1972 and graduated from medical school in 1979. During his training in plastic surgery, he also obtained a Master of Science degree from McGill University, having completed a thesis on micro-vascular surgery. He then embarked on specialty training in plastic surgery and became a certified plastic surgeon in 1986.
He has been in private practice in cosmetic plastic surgery ever since and is affiliated with St Mary's Hospital Center, in Montreal, Quebec. Over his years of practice, he has been a member of both the Canadian and American Societies of Plastic Surgeons.
He has also held dual university academic positions as clinical lecturer to medical students and residents at McGill University and Université de Montréal.
Known for his perfectionism and unwavering attention to detail, he prides himself not only on his surgical skills but on the personalized, thorough post-operative care for each and every patient.
He attends major plastic surgery conferences several times a year in order to bring the latest techniques and innovations into his practice.
